Be Less Confident. Say Less. Say Nothing, Even.
You probably know less about some things than you act like you do. The people you get your opinions from probably know a whole lot less about things than they act like they do.
Normalize nuance. Leave the door open to the idea you might be wrong, or have no idea what you’re talking about. Easily and routinely say, “You know, I don’t really know enough to have a strong opinion on it.”
